Massage Therapy

Massage therapy plays a key role in the over all wellness of our bodies. Offering a range of styles and techniques, the massage therapists at Remedy can treat a wide variety of conditions.

Known as one of the oldest methods of healing, massage therapy involves the manual manipulation of the body’s soft tissues, including muscles, ligaments, tendons and fasciae. As the conditions in soft tissues are addressed the body is able to move with fewer restrictions, expel toxins, and improve healing time.

Often used to aid relaxation, massage therapy is also important for athletes. Regular massage sessions can decrease sports related injuries. Keeping muscles pliable with massage treatments can prevent common injuries such as sprains, strains and over use conditions. Consistent massage visits should become a part of any athletic training to maintain optimal performance and health.

By stimulating blood flow and relaxing tight, damaged muscles; massage aides the bodies ability to heal. Recovery from automotive accidents and work related injuries are often improved significantly through massage therapy techniques. Remedy’s friendly staff is happy to help you by working with medical, automotive and workers compensation insurance companies on your behalf.
